Mary is especially reminding you about the RGSC upcoming meeting or AGM for January the 20th. She is also trying to encourage your attendance to be sure that those of us whom are and have been localy located and associated with the club can contribute to its continuity. We share a concern that with a decline in local members there will be a problem in continuity. Your attendance will dictate our future.
Sincerely
Doug Newman

Rumor has it that at the Awards night banquet, the greater majority of the Executive choose not to run for re-election.
However, Tracy Haines will remain as Past President and Sherry Black is willing to continue as secretary. Both Tracy and Sherry have voiced that they are committed to help a new executive form the nucleus of the 2013 club.
Doug Newman, long time Treasurer/Membership chairman has asked to step down, but leaves it clear that he will help and interact with any new chairman to learn and understand those responsibilities, plus use any of his forms and books.
I, Mary Dancey Clark, have offered to again be the Newsletter Editor.
The following is the agenda for our AGM
Rusty Gaits Saddle Club
Annual General Meeting
Sunday, January 20, 2013
To be held at
Secretary’s Office. Aylmer Fair Board
Starting at 1:00 p.m. sharp!
The 2013 Membership Form is available on the website. If possible, please have it filled out ahead of time. Note also that a ‘family’ consists of 1 or 2 adults plus children under the age of 18 still living at home.
Coffee & tea will be supplied – donations of a few baked goods would be appreciated.
The past president will present the agenda, however if you have a concerns about the club, its rules and regulations, and its future plans, this meeting is your opportunity to be a part of it and or to express your opinion/s. If you don’t show up, you have no right to complain later on!
The Rusty Gaits Saddle Club needs previous and experienced members, at this meeting. We also invite younger, youthful members with creativity, and everyone in between to keep our club viable.
On a sad note, we have just lost a major supporter – our dear friend and member, Vic Robinson passed away from cancer on Saturday, December 28th. His mannerisms and positive encouragement will be sorely missed. His funeral is this Friday, January the 4th, 11:00 am in Delhi ON.
Vic’s home address is:
142 Regional Road 67,
LaSalette, ON. N0E 1H0
Res; 519-582-1316
I’m sure that Julie and family would appreciate reading your stories.
At the end of last June, long time member Murray McEown, lost his brother Richard in a car accident that also claimed the life of Donna McEown, Murray’s wife’s, brother.
Long time RGSC member Marlene Weber has traded the sunny south (of Ontario) for the snow of Ste Sault Marie. We all wish her a good life there.
I received word the other day of an antibiotic on the market with some dangerous side effects, for your horse. “EXCEDE” by Pfizer, is said to cause instant death and affects 1 in 100 horses. You’ve been warned!
